My name is Ashley Pearse. I am 21 years old and I have been writing since I was 10 years old. In my grade four classroom, we were supposed to write a short story of four pages… my teacher stopped me at twenty.
I discovered my passion for writing very young and had my first entire series completed by 12 years old. Since then I have written dozens of books, although I trashed them all at sixteen and started over. Since then, I have written two full series, a trilogy, many standalone books and have four more books planned for the year of 2020. (All in the fiction/fantasy/adventure category.)
I first started this blog at my Dad’s prompting, hesitant because I did not know why anyone would want to read something less magnificent than a novel. However, in the last year and a half of writing (nearly 2) I have discovered magnificence lies solely in our Creator and I can only touch a smidgen of what He displays daily.
This blog has become not only a coping mechanism for me, but also a way to share important lessons and revelations God has given me through daily devotion, prayer, and my walk with Him. It is Him who guides my path and writing and Him who tells me what to write and when.
